Argo December 2024
In December of 2024, the Apparent Winds team was given the opportunity to deploy Argo Floats for Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution(WHOI). We deployed 5 core argo floats and 1 biogeochemical Argo float in the North Atlantic, filling in gaps of information in key hurricane predicting areas. These are deep ocean floats that collect a myriad of parameters such as salinity, pH, temperature, nitrates, chlorophyll-a and others. Click HERE to learn more about the WHOI Argo program.
